This is a 13 day Uganda tour which starts and finishes in Kampala. This tour can also be organized for you on a private basis. The safari will take you through Uganda’s famous destinations.
The safari starts from Murchison Falls National Park believed by many to be the most beautiful national park. A launch cruise on the Nile is one of the most adventurous activities that cannot easily be erased from tourist memories. Later the safari will take you through the western arm of the Rift Valley as you drive to Kibaale Primate Forests.
Visiting the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you can see a wide diversity of game such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and leopards is another awesome experience of the safari. Other activities to be carried out on the vacation include; a hunt for the tree-climbing lions lounging on old fig trees in the Ishasha region as well as a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where schools of hippos and crocodiles can be seen. A wide variety of birds at the channel present a haven to birders yet the tropical rain forests of Maramagambo are a treasure to nature lovers.
Tracking some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is another omissible holiday activity in a true Ugandan tour. This activity will be carried out in Bwindi where there are 3 habituated gorilla families. From Bwindi the tour will take you to the Beautiful Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake with historical islands. As you return to Kampala you will have an experience of Lake Mburo National park, another beautiful savanna park in the country

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Your arrival at Entebbe international airport. Meet, greet and transfer to Kampala. Dinner and Overnight on your Kampala hotel
Day 2: Kampala-Murchison falls NP
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National park passing through Uganda’s historical War-Zone-the famous Luweero Triangle. The journey is a seven hours drive towards the northern part of the country. Have a stop over for lunch at Masindi town and then proceed to the Murchison Falls national park. Relax and refreshment from the journey. Dinner and overnight at Sambiya River Lodge/ Busingiro Ecotourist Site/ Nile Safari camp/ Paraa Safari Lodge/ Masindi Hotel/Red Chilli Rest Camp/
Day 3: Murchison Falls NP Wildlife Tour
Wake up earlier for an early morning game drive to see the early risers in the park as well as predators returning to their hideouts. A drive at the Delta may probably yield facial encounters with the Rothschild Giraffe, Leopards, Lions, Hartebeests, Elephants, Oribis, among others. Go back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch proceed to the Mighty Nile for a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls. On the cruise you may view and take photos of the game at close quarters. Amongst the game are schools of Crocodiles and Hippos basking along the banks of the lake and if lucky, the whale headed (Shoe billed) Stork can also be seen. Go to Paraa for a scenic view of the magnificent top of the falls where the Nile is crammed into a cleft in the rift valley falling below in a series of cascades. Day 4: Murchison Falls-Kibaale NP
After breakfast, take the Western scenic route to Kibaale National Park. This journey will take you through the Albertine rift found in the Western arm of Great East African rift valley. Connect to Fort portal town which is located 34 Kms from the Main Park. Arrive early evening in Fort portal. Relax. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge/ Crater Valley Kibale/ Mantana Tented Camp
Day 5: Kibale Forest NP
After morning Breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National park. Go to the forest for Chimpanzee tracking. While tracking, you may also see other primates such as the Black and white Colobus monkeys, the blues, Red tailed monkeys, Grey cheeked Mangabeys, among others. The guide will also guide you through tree identification in the forest. After lunch, take a swamp walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary for closer encounter with nature. While on the trail a number of birds can be seen as well as abundant plant life. Return to the camp for overnight at Ndali lodge/ Crater Valley Kibale/ Mantana Tented Camp
Day 6: Kibaale-Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast, have a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is mostly a savanna park. While en route, take scenic photos of the great Mountains of the Moon natively called Mount Rwenzori. Have a stopover in Kasese town for lunch. Connect downwards to Queen Elizabeth physically cross the Equator. Take memorable photos and then enter the park through the main gates. While on the drive you may see a number of evening grazers summing up their day most especially antelopes. Relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Lodge/
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast take an early morning game drive to see the early risers as well as predators returning to their hide outs. A drive to the Ishasha region may reward you with a sight of the tree climbing lions hanging on fig trees in wait for their prey which usually relax in the shadows. Have lunch and then descend to the Kazinga channel for a launch cruise. The Kazinga channel connects Lake George to Lake Edward and it is blessed with a number of solitary Buffaloes, Hippos, and a various number of other animals that come for a drink for instance elephants. The channel is also a haven for bird watchers given there are a number of birds that can be seen. These include the European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregating there in large flocks. Day 8: Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi NP
After breakfast, have a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable forest, a home to the Endangered Mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through the beautiful land overlooking the Mountains of the moon. Together with the existence of other volcanic mountains in the region this region has come to be commonly referred to as the ‘Little Switzerland of Africa’. Dinner and over night at the Gorilla Resort/
Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable NP
After breakfast go for a short briefing from the destination guides. Enter the tropical moist forest for a thrilling adventure and memorable encounter with the great apes. Have our packed lunch. Since gorilla tracking may take a whole day time permitting, you may go a visit to the local community of the Bambuti (pygmies) Dinner and Overnight at the Gorilla resort
Day 10: Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, set off for Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest craters lakes in Africa. In the afternoon take a canoe ride to different islands in the lake including the Akampene Island where many unmarried pregnant girls from the Bakiga community were punished by dropping them to the island to meet their death through starvation. Overnight and dinner at Nature Prime Island
Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, go to the lake for bird watching. The lake shores attract a number of birds. Its from these birds that this second deepest lake in Africa derives its name “Bunyonyi” literally meaning birds.. Canoeing, fishing and relaxation from this beautiful evergreen environment. Dinner and overnight at Nature Prime Island
Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi Boat Ride - Lake Mburo NP
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park getting there in time for lunch. Have a boat cruise on the lake to refresh you from the journey. From this park it is a guarantee to see Impalas, Topis, Elands, the Beautiful Uganda Kob, Zebras, and other game. Meals and Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp.
Day 13: Drive to Kampala
Start your day with an early morning game drive and later have breakfast. After having lunch, depart for Kampala arriving late in the evening. Overnight at your hotel. Check out urban night life in Kampala
