Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be greeted by our safari guide. After a warm welcome and brief briefing, embark on a scenic drive through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda, heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This journey offers breathtaking views of the Ugandan countryside, with lush green landscapes and traditional villages. Along the way, you’ll stop for a hearty lunch and then continue to your lodge near Bwindi. After check-in and settling into your accommodation, spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the adventure that lies ahead. Enjoy a dinner featuring local delicacies and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Wake up early for an exhilarating day of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of the most famous and biodiverse rainforests in the world. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll join your guide for a briefing on gorilla trekking and the day’s plan. The trek through the dense forest can be challenging, but the reward is truly unforgettable. You’ll have the chance to observe the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, witnessing their behaviors and interactions up close. Spend an hour with these gentle giants, capturing memories with photos and enjoying their presence. After the trek, return to your lodge for a relaxing afternoon and a celebratory dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse protected areas. This journey takes you through varied landscapes, including lush forests, savannah plains, and picturesque crater lakes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch while soaking in the views of the park’s stunning scenery. In the afternoon, go on a game drive in the park, which is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge in the evening for a restful night and dinner, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park – Boat Safari and Chimp Tracking

Begin your day with a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a unique experience that offers a chance to see a variety of wildlife from the water. The channel is teeming with hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species. After the boat safari, return to the lodge for lunch. Day 5: Return to Entebbe and Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on the remarkable experiences of the past few days. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you may have time for a brief city tour or some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
