This is a 3 days safari starting and ending in Kampala. The safari takes you through the beautiful islands of Uganda-the Ssese islands.
The Ssese islands are blessed with serene white sandy beaches, natural rain forests and a water wonder world, non existent in any other place in Africa. The many Islands that make up the Ssese Islands provide more breathtaking experiences of life in Africa’s’ biggest lake, Lake Victoria. This is a paradise in its making that provides a perfect get away destination from the hustle and bustle of the main land with in Uganda.

SSESSE ISLAND TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Bukakata landing site -Islands

After a short briefing by your guide, you will be transferred to Bukakata landing site for a ferry transfer to the islands. Before reaching Bukakata, have a stop over at the Equator for the memorial photography. Have en route lunch and then proceed to Bukakata landing site. Board a ferry to Luuku site on the side of the beautiful Ssesse Islands. Dinner and overnight at Ssesse Palm Beach Resort Beach hotel/ Ssesse islands beach hotel

Day 2 Ssesse Island Tour

After breakfast go for a forest walk in the Island’s undisturbed virgin forests. You can take some photos while in the forest. While on the walk you may see different animals living in the forest. These include monkeys, birds, and butterflies among others. Have lunch at the hotel. After lunch, proceed to the lake for relaxation, swimming, fishing if interested. Dinner and overnight at Ssesse Palm Beach/ Mirembe Resort Beach hotel/ Ssesse islands beach hotel.

Day 3 Fishing Villages Tour

After breakfast go for a boat ride on the World second largest inland water body. Make a visit to the community fishing villages to have an experience of their lifestyles, types of fish caught from the lake as well as the methods used. Have lunch and then relax at the sandy beaches. Dinner and Overnight at Ssese Palm Beach Resort.

Day 4 Return to the Mainland

After a morning breakfast, connect Luuku Landing site for a ferry service to Bukakata. Visit the Nabugabo sandy beaches a haven for bird watchers. Lunch at Masaka and then connect to Kampala having a stopover at Buwama crocodile farm.
